Le restaurant italien est excellent!

L'eau chaude n'est pas garantie dans la douche mais avec une telle vue on oublie vite ce détail ;)
L'accès n'est pas simple si vous n'avez pas un 4x4 mais l'emplacement en vaut la peine.

Beautiful place! Ocean Views are million dollar views and they have outstanding service for the hotel and restaurant! Their Italian fare it’s the best! When you come here you feel their incredible family environment! It’s a must go when you’re in Uvita area!

This is my second time staying here. Without a doubt my most favourite. It has a calming magical feel. The views are breath taking the food is outstanding. The owners are so kind and very helpful and accommodating. Thank you again for your amazing hospitality?

Eines - wenn nicht das beste und schönste Hotel - das ich je gebucht habe. Traumhafter Ausblick vom Balkon, das Frühstück sowie das Restaurant der Hammer (authentischst italienisch, glaube nicht dass man das in Costa Rica in der Form nochmal bekommt) und die Gastgeber hilfsbereit von A bis Z, egal in welchen Belangen. Von Papageien bis Affen alles direkt vor der Haustür, hab Nachts die Balkontür offen gelassen (hat Fliegengitter). Urwald trifft auf Meeresrauschen.

Uneingeschränkt Empfehlung für dieses Schmuckstück!

Don’t stay here!
The bugs were biting me within an hour of our stay! Very dirty!
We left and went to see the owner to let her know we cannot stay there with all the bugs! The Italian woman that owned the place immediately said they are NOT “bedbugs” I said whatever they are they bite and the place is not clean! She screamed at me several times and said how I F.her! Extremely rude and out of control! I asked her if she treated her employees like that! She continued to scream!
My boyfriend showed her husband after wiping up several of the bugs from the floor and he grabbed the towel out of his hand and said “get out of here”!
Never experienced this in Costa Rica! Always had beautiful clean rooms but here!
I do not recommend this place at all!

Nous sommes restés deux nuits dans cet hôtel.
L’accueil et la nourriture y sont irréprochables.
Les petits déjeuners vraiment excellents.
La vue depuis le restaurant et la chambre où nous avons séjournés est à couper le souffle.
Le seul bémol est la localisation de l’hôtel, difficile d’accès et relativement éloigné du centre d’Uvita.

Amazing location with a wonderful view over the forest and ocean, a lot of birds and some monkeys can be seen from the balcony in the morning. Good breakfast with pancakes and fresh fruits and the coffee, even though not at the high Italian level, was definitely better than in the usual places. Nice Italian owners. The only negative points are that it was not 100% clean in our bungalow. But definitely recommend it of you wanna stay in uvita.

Gorgeous room and view. Be sure to book a room with a water view. Loved the shower over looking the ocean. Amazing restaurant and owners!

One of our best stay here in Costa Rica after three weeks trip!
The view is breathtaking, we could also watch toucans monkeys howlers from our balcony! Amazing! Moreover, the food is excellent!

Very tasty food “made Italian style”! Excellent location to watch a beautiful sunset and the exactly right distance to the Pacific Ocean, overviewing waves, surfers, birds and scenery.

The Lodge was absolutely amazing. We had an incredible view of the ocean over a piece of jungle. You can even hear the waves, which in combination with some frog noises is perfect background sound for a good sleep. One can see the tree tops so we could observe several birds (even Toucans) from close by. We instantly wanted to extend our stay at the lodge! Luca and Francesca were very welcoming and they also have an Italian restaurant right near the lodge with exquisite food (we had Pizzas, which were made like in Italy … yummy). We also saw green-black poison dart frogs on two mornings during our 3 night stay, which was a highlight, because we never got the chance on any of our tours throughout Costa Rica.
I can totally recommend this lodge and the restaurant as well to anyone.

I stayed here for 2 nights and my stay was great! Great food, great view, REAL PIZZA, and best of all the service and the owners Francisco and her husband are absolutely wonderful! They made my stay great! Go here and do you! Do whatever you want. Outdoor shower basically! Will be back!

If you have the opportunity to stay at Ranchos Remo Lodge or eat at Gusto Italian I 100% recommend doing both. After travelling around CR for four months this is hands down my favourite place I’ve stayed.

The rooms are clean, homey, cozy and comfortable with the most incredible view overlooking the ocean, and even a shower with an ocean view. The room was cleaned regularly throughout our stay and they were incredibly accommodating about working around our schedule to clean.

The breakfast is amazing, with lots of different options to choose from and is delicious and filling. They have a restaurant on site that’s open for lunch and dinner and I promise it’s the best Italian food you’ll find in CR. After dinner there the first night we came back every day for the rest of the week!

The best part of the experience though was Francesca and Luca (and Zoey the beautiful and playful dog). They are warm and welcoming and go above and beyond what you’d expect of a host. They had great suggestions and knowledge for things to do in the area, restaurants, and any other questions we had. They treated us like family and were so caring and thoughtful (and incredible cooks).

Thank you so much for making our stay so incredible! It was one of my favourite weeks in Costa Rica ️

Restaurant Italien. Accepte que l'on vienne prendre juste un verre. Bierre Pilsen et jus d'orange pasteurisé: 5$. Hors de prix pour le confort proposé. Néanmoins très belles vue. Accès relativement difficile.

Excellent homemade Italian food. Very authentic! Best gnocchi I ever had. All the dishes are exceptional! 10/10

I would like to give it a 4.5 but cannot round up because the heat in the room is impossible. Sure there is a ceiling fan but it doesn't quite refresh you completely. The room in itself is really nice, very large and with plenty of space. The shower is separate from the WC and it is all pretty open to the bedroom. The shower itself is totally open to the jungle. It is pretty thick jungle but you cannot help but wonder what/who might be looking up. But a sunset shower is pretty special. The restaurant was nice too but with few really exciting vegetarian or vegan dishes and the prices were relatively steep, one of the most expensive in the area. Of course the view is amazing and deserves much compliment. We found ourselves racing to get back to the room to enjoy the sunset (although you cannot actually see the sun from the room). Saw toucans and poisonous arrow frogs on the premises. The owners/managers are very friendly.

The room was simple with a huge ceiling fan and floor to ceiling door/windows leading to the balcony. Our room had the view shown on the website with monkeys and birds in the trees off our balcony and the view from the shower was amazing-like showering outside.
The only thing I would change is there isn't a door on the toilet. No biggie for us-married 23 years but it might be awkward for some. A curtain would make a big privacy difference.
The restaurant was fantastic-the best Tuna I've ever had, fresh pasta, and the breakfast was perfect-what a view! We ate a lot of good food in CR but the Ranchos Remo restaurant was by far the best!
