EDITAR DESPUÉS DE SU RESPUESTA: Pedir una propina doble no es la norma en Costa Rica, especialmente cuando el servidor niega recibir la propina automática del 10%. Estafadores.

Tenga en cuenta que el menú dice claramente que agregan un 10% de servicio a la factura; sin embargo, la camarera nos preguntó en la máquina de tarjetas si queríamos dar propina. Cuando la desafié, ella actuó culpable y dijo que el servicio no llega al personal de todos modos. O el menú está mal, el propietario se queda con las propinas o, mucho más probable, el personal intenta que los turistas den doble propina. Cosas como esta dejan a los turistas con mal sabor de boca.

Comer en Zula es imprescindible cada visita a Santa Teresa. Mi hija les cuenta a sus amigas en casa que Zula es su restaurante favorito. Nos encantan los platos israelíes con pescado o escalope y el shakshuka. El personal es amable y los propietarios son amables y siempre están dispuestos a ayudar. ¡Estaremos de vuelta pronto!

Comida exquisita, especialmente shawarma y pita. Mi pareja quedó maravillada con el mojito de fresa y en otras mesas le preguntaron qué había pedido para poder tomar la misma bebida helada que compensa perfectamente el calor y la humedad.

Uno de los mejores lugares de Santa Teresa sin duda. Los platos son riquisimos y abundantes.

Delicious food and good portion sizes. Quite a few vegetarian options and I would recommend the Shashuka plate which came with hummus, pitta, fries and salad. The waitress asked for a tip at the end which was a bit strange and we felt this was cheeky as the bill already included a service charge.

Wow wow wow Zula has been on my radar and I finally was able to visit and it did not disappoint!
Honestly I have nothing bad to say except I couldn’t try everything. The food was incredible, their hummus so creamy and the restaurant was an excellent place to spend the afternoon. I got the shashuka hummus plate and as you can see it was. Also, an unknowing champion was the French fries… the crispiest papas you’ve ever had! 10/10, highly recommend, can’t wait to return.

Excellent food, but pricey. And even though the service fee is included, you can expect an awkward "do you want to tip? " when paying the bill.

We had dinner here after seeing it recommended online. It was so good we came back for lunch the next day! Both times ordered the falafel plate between two with extra pitta. And had a delicious smoothie. This was our favourite meal in costa rica. Make sure you try the parsley pesto they serve with the meals.

El pita sandwich de falafel fué un placer, no lo pude terminar y me llevé la mitad. Ahora, todo drogau lo disfruto 100%! Gracias!

Fantastic food and overall experience! The fries were amazing (crispy and golden) and they had really delicious Israeli plates and appetizers. Fresh and yummy falafel and hummus. Great service, enjoyable playlist and a really chill and relaxing ambience.

We decided to visit this restaurant on the strength of its TripAdvisor and reviews. We went for dinner in the early evening, and the first sign that something was wrong was when our drinks did not arrive until after we had finished our starter, and only when we followed up on the drinks order. The starters of jalapeño poppers and hummus, falafel and pitta were very generous and the hummus was tasty. For mains we had an Israeli plate with schwarma and an Israeli plate with mixed shish. These came with chips (unnecessary), coleslaw (tasteless), a chopped salad (competent) and more hummus and pittas. The schwarma was juicy and delicious whilst the mixed shish was underwhelming. By this point the restaurant had filled up and the two waitresses were clearly struggling to fulfil orders and turn tables. We waited for our dirty plates to be taken away and ultimately had to ask for the bill with them still on the table. After a further wait the waitress bought the bill and latterly brought over the card machine. In summary, whilst the staff were welcoming and helpful there were too few of them for the dinner service. The portions were generous but not consistent in quality. I regret not asking the staff for their recommendations from the menu.

The food was amazing, loved being able to have shawarma out in CR. Though the music could be a bit more lively.

You get a lot for what you're paying. Authentic, down to earth Israeli cuisine with a touch of Costa rica! Great!

The food was amazing. We had Pita Falafel. Big portions, salad or fries as a side. Quality was perfect - one of the best spots we ate in ST. Service was also quick - only the payment process took some time due to many customers.

Still, the prices are much higher than in the pictures so I added the new menue pictures. As everywhere in ST a little more pricey but worth the quality.

Went there on thursday with a group. Food was okay, so we thougth. Later that night four of us got really sick (sings of food poisoning) and two of us are still very sick. We ordered the falafel plate. Don’t think I can ever eat falafel again in my life. On top of all that we also got ripped of by the waitress. After everyone paid there was still one dish left according to the waitress. We were absoluty positive that we all paid for our own dish. Conveniently enough she couldn’t find the receipt. Don’t go here!

La comida es excelente, todo lo que probé fue riquísimo. El hummus, el falafel, Los batidos, el shawarma de pollo y las mejores papas fritas que probé en mucho tiempo.
De los pocos lugares en CR que te sirven una entrada mientras esperas la comida.
Los platos son abundantes y los precios súper accesibles.
El lugar es sencillo, pero cálido y agradable.
Muy recomendable.
