Tramonti

La comida en Tramonti es muy buena. El ambiente era muy agradable, aunque la ubicación de nuestra mesa probablemente se alejó de eso, ya que se sentó justo en el camino del personal de la cocina y el bar que preparaban comida, bebidas y platos dietéticos. Si vas, asegúrate de hacer una reserva y pide estar afuera o junto a las ventanas. Definitivamente pide el tiramisú de postre.

Un buen restaurante italiano con una gran vista.
Recomiendo tener asientos al aire libre.
La pasta estaba muy rica.

We went to this restaurant during our Costa rica trip. We stayed at El establo mountain lodge and walked to this restaurant. Total we were 8 of us, all are vegetarians. We had just 1.30 hrs to eat our lunch and head to the tour. The staffs were very friendly and accomodating to our requests and brought the food on time. There are plenty of vegetarian options too! It's is not expensive either. We paid about $35 in total with 4 different orders. Very happy about this place

Beautiful place, great food, kind service! The place is simple and elegant, with an amazing view. We ordered pasta - Spaghetti Carbonara and Gnocchi with Pesto and Tomatoes, both were REALLY good, and we ended with a high quality black coffee.

The pictures don’t do justice to the place. Wonderful atmosphere and staff, and the food is no less!

El lugar es muy lindo, con una vista impresionante. Las pastas, exquisitas. Las pizzas mas normales. Parada obligatoria en Monteverde para ir a Almorzar.

We were recommended this restaurant for its sunset views, but the food and service make it even better. If you fancy an Italian meal whilst away, this is the place to go. Really tasty wood fired over pizza and cocktails!

The Italian food was very good. The restaurant is elevated and you can enjoy a beautiful view with outdoor seating. After our plates were cleared, we waited and tried to get someone to take a dessert order, but we were ignored for fifteen minutes. The restaurant was not terribly busy at the time either. We were seated in a corner far away from the entrance. Nobody told us that they do not bring the bill to the table. Once it was time for us to meet our night tour guide, we got up and paid our bill and left without dessert. Maybe you will have better service when you visit.

Nos gustó tanto el almuerzo que repetimos en la cena.
También desde se terraza se puede beber viendo el atardecer.sobre.el Pacífico.

Absolutely top notch restaurant and food - I am very picky with pizza and didn’t expect to find such a gem in the Monteverde area. Ended up going there twice in two days. The view is exceptional as well. Highly recommend

It was okay. The building is incredible and worth a visit by itself. We went during the sunset which I would recommend, it was beautiful. The pizzas we had were okay, not fantastic unfortunately, but they were very reasonably priced. The staff for the most part were friendly and helpful. Would recommend a visit during your stay in the area!

Lovely modern restaurant with a wood fired pizza oven, pizza just like you get in Italy. $70 for 4 pizzas and 4 beers, definitely value for money.

An amazing dinner for our family of four. We had 5: 30pm reservations on the balcony and watched a beautiful sunset. Everything we ate was fantastic- salads, calzone, spaghetti, eggplant ravioli, to the desserts, including tiramisu. The presentation, location, food, cleanliness, were all impeccable.

One of the first times I’ve ever had to leave a bad review for a restaurant and in good conscience I have to let others know of our bad experience here. First, we arrived our first night without a reservation and even though the tables were maybe 15% occupied they couldn’t accommodate my fiancé and I for a meal. Since the place looked lovely, we decided that we would make a reservation for the next day for dinner and try again…

We arrived on time and we’re seated on the lovely outdoor patio (only good part). We ordered our initial drinks and food and everything went downhill with the extremely poor service. It took over two hours from start to finish for our meal, and all we had was a pizza and an app. We had to approach the bar multiple times for vino/water refills, as we were dismissed by the servers on several occasions. Needless to say, we were not satisfied with the obvious poor service, and the food was one of the worst/overpriced meals we had during our stay in CR. And trust me… we had many meals in multiple areas. So, be prepared for an uneventful experience.

***We suggest hiring a private chef (for the same cost) to come to your place and give you the best experience of your life (Juan Diego was amazing, and we included private bartender) Now that was service!

Very surprised at the lack of customer service here at this restaurant. I called and emailed for reservations and still 2 days later I have not heard from your restaurant. I decided to write a review because the lack of customer service follows throughout the whole experience at your restaurant. Also your Website has false advertisement. “Reservation suggested” needs to be changed to Reservation Needed. If you are requiring reservations you should answer to Inquiry's. My biggest question to your restaurant Is how do you make reservations if no one answers the phone or responds to email? Hope you can do better for future guests.

The Restaurant is located a bit outside santa helena.
We arrived, the place is beautiful, decorated and nice.
Even though when we arrived there was only one waitress serving around 7-8 tables, We can’t even say one bad word. And the service was still good, within couple mintues of wait.
The dishes were served very fast.
The food was just fantastic.
The prices of the dishes are fair in comparison to their high quality.
We had an amazing evening there.
Highly recommended.

I’m italian and I was in this Pizzeria for dinner. I normally rarely eat Italian abroad and obviously I wouldn’t expect to find in Monteverde a perfect pizza but, this one at Pizzeria Tramonti was really bad. Too cheesy and the dough really horrible…to be honest even a frozen one is better.

Otherwise nice location and probably pasta or meat would have been a better choice there.

Excellent food, everything we ordered from the Ribeye steak, Grilled chicken with white sauce, and wood fired pizzas were all delicious! Top notch service with reasonable prices. Loved the decor and layout of this restaurant.

The best italian food in Costa Rica, and honestly better than most in a lot of the US. Tasted authentic and full of flavor. Service was friendly, though sitting in a corner outside it seemed we may have been overlooked for a brief period but the waitress was quick to apologize. Lovely setting inside and outside. And incredibly fair pricing. 100% a must eat if you’re looking for a good night out in Monteverde
