My girlfriend and i ate here for lunch after we got it from the nice girl from insidercostarica recommended. It’s quite up north, so it’s in total a little bit more quiet around there. The restaurant looked from the street not special, but that’s totally fine for a typical Soda. Immediately in the inside, we recognized there were nearly only local people. The staff welcomed us friendly and showed us the menu. The menu is mostly the same regarding all Sodas, but still nice and a bunch of different meals available. The prices were, as expected and typical for Sodas, little bit lower than the average of the Santa Teresa restaurants. We chose the following dishes: Rice with chicken for me and my girlfriend gave the shrimp ceviche a shot. Both were really nice and tasted delicious. Sadly, my rice was made with coriander, which not really my taste, but was still very well made. The free wifi was also available and its password was on a sign on the wall, which is in my opinion way more comfortable than asking for it. There is also an second floor, which i recognized after i went for the men’s bathroom. Upstairs was nobody, so the restaurant in total wasn’t that full. We paid by card without extra fees. Summing up, a very nice, quite cheap and local restaurant.

Lots of food (too much for me) so go to Tiquicia when you only are very hungry. Otherwise nice with football matches shown on a tv and delicious fruit smoothies which is what you need to drink when under the hot sun over Santa Teresa!

We went to this place for the good reviews, but were quite disappointed. It seems to me that “Sodas” in Santa Teresa just use the name, but don’t deliver on the cuisine or the cost. I had ceviche with patacones and neither was eatable. The fish was so mushy and chewy, it had no taste, and the patacones were more like dried plantains than fried ones. My husband had one of the lunch platters with fish and the fish tasted stale.
May be it was just our luck, but I wouldn’t return.

Per due volte abbiamo cenato in questo locale, una Soda ma che non ha nulla da invidiare a tanti ristoranti. Forse un po di confusione, pulizia un po carente, per il resto servizio eccellente, buoni piatti sia carne che pesce, ottima la qualità-prezzo.
Un locale pieno di giovani, consigliato senza ombra di dubbio.

We've been traveling around Costa Rica for a while now and have not found many sodas that were delicious, filling, authentic and cheap. This one hits all those nails on the head! We got the pescado casado and pollo casado (each around $5) and they were huge and delicious! The service was great and they serve beer too. I had a mojito and it was very fresh and delicious, definitely made with fresh ingredients. If you are looking for a good soda in Santa Teresa this one is great!

You must eat here if you are in Santa Teresa. It is highly recommended by our local surf instructor Mr. Dennis. We ate lunch here 4 times in a row. All of the casados are equally delicious, and the ceviche fish is excellent. It is definitely the best local "Soda" that we had in Costa Rica.

Très bon resto aux assiettes très généreuses. N’oubliez pas de demander le prix des assiettes du jour.le service est très bien fait rapide et avec les petits mots français.
Il est préférable d’y manger le soir, à cause de la poussière de la route.

#1 soda in Costa Rica. Of all the sodas I've been to this is by far the best. Good price, great food, loads of food on the plate, and friendly staff. The only place I haven't hesitated to eat the green salad.

What can I say, except that the food was amazing and the staff were very fun and easy-going! My friends and I all got the Casado Pescado, and it was served with Mahi that was cooked to perfection and seasoned very well! Very fresh and delicious! It looks unassuming from the outside, but it’s definitely worth the stop in!

La comida es deliciosa ️ además los platos son super grandes, hay variedad de comidas, mariscos, y comida tradicional costarricense además de que los precios son bastante accesibles ️ los recomiendo a mil!

I ordered a Chicken with Pork. It was awesome! But a lot of food so if you’re very hungry you can come here. The place has low end chairs and tables, they are not balanced enough so if you order something with sauce be careful because it can drop. Overall it was a very good experience. I recommend it

Excelente lugar, muy buena la comida, precios cómodos acordes al producto final. Únicamente solamente el servicio podrían mejorarlo, falta de tacto y seguimiento de la satisfacción del cliente. Sirven la comida sumamente rápido.
