Good service, however, today I had
Octopus and sadly, it was hard.flavors were great, I ate it not to waste food.

Everything here is delicious. The ambiance is amazing, they make mocktails that are so tasty. My favorite app is the cheese croquettes, if you love cheese this is a must have. My entree that I always get is their gnocci which comes vegan also. Top 3 restaurants in the Ojochal, Uvita, and Dominical area.

Food was wonderful and waiter was very helpful.
We went about 3: 00 pm and it wasn't crowded. The sun comes up at 5: 30 and goes down at 6: 00; so, we adjusted mealtimes.

Food, atmosphere, service - Perfecto! Pork tenderloin pink in the middle - mark of a knowledged chef.

Best food I have had in a while. Every course was superb. Even better than some of the food I have had in Paris. Someone else mentioned it deserves a Michelin star. I agree. Worth the detour if you have to make one. We were lucky it was only 20 minutes away from where we are staying. The daiquiri in the photo looks like desert but it actually a drink.

This restaurant came highly recommended by my AirBnB host and I had a great experience.

The first thing that immediately drew me in upon arrival was the decor and ambiance. We arrived after lunchtime on a Monday, so we had the restaurant to ourselves which was nice. Our server was attentive and friendly.

I had the Skordalia Pesca ($19 USD) and the Mojito ($6 USD). The fish was delicious and fresh as was the mojito.

The prices are comparable to those in the US, and expensive for Costa Rica.

Overall a very good experience.

Great environment. Very friendly accommodating staff. A bit touristy / overpriced but a solid option for tourists with a little money to spend.

Citrus is one of my favorite restaurants in the area. The food is always top-notch, and they have delicious cocktails too. The staff are also fantastic.

Overpriced & the food it’s getting worst, I went there 5 times & I’m not going there again… the umami bowl is a disgrace, don’t try to do a chirashi bowl if you can’t have fresh ingredients like tuna or salmon or if you don’t know how a tempura shrimp is done, the rice is aaawful. The tartare’s meat was bad handled, overworked. Pad Thai was the worst I’ve tried… why is this restaurant so we’ll rated? It’s misleading. I think people don’t know better.

My wife and I have lived in Ojochal for three months now, and have visited Citrus half a dozen times for dinner. The last time we went it cost $120USD for both of us to eat. The food is a little expensive, but very tasty! However, the reason for my rating is based on a recent experience we had with their host regarding their mask policy. Although we’ve never encountered any issues in the past, the most recent visit the host refused to seat us since we arrived without a mask, and was EXTREMELY rude in his approach in communicating with us. Oddly enough, I’ve personally witnessed the own of this location without her mask on numerous times, so the double standard for customers is disappointing, to say the least. I respect this restaurant’s decision to refuse to serve me and my wife, but being rude to your loyal customer is completely unnecessary. We gladly took our money a few blocks down the road and enjoyed our dinner somewhere else.

A high end touristic restaurant. The steak and fish were excellent. Good vegetarian options too. Good service. No view though. Menu prices in dollars. Quite expensive but worth it if you feel like pampering yourselves

Food definitely above average and so was the price. The coconut ceviche delicious! The atmosphere a bit chaotic but people were very friendly. Would come back.

Great lively place when you want well presented food. The appetizer was my favorite dish with a balanced citrus flavor and a touch of coconut milk. The fish main dish was less stellar. The fish skin was perfectly crispy but the fish and shrimp were overcooked and the sauce/veggies lacked salt.

So happy to find a vegan friendly restaurant - and it’s delicious! We’ve gone here 3 times in two weeks and will probably go more.

Not a good place for latinos. You wont get a table if u speak spanish. *updated* as you can see below I finally got the reservation # after posting a comment in english.never again this place.

Enjoying Citrus should be on everyone’s list if anywhere near Ojochal. Gorgeous setting with even more gorgeous food and drinks. The staff are what make Citrus truly magical!
