Jardines Cafe Emma

Cena decepcionante y cara. El servicio fue excelente, pero por el equivalente a $ 80 CAD para tres personas, la comida era cara y horrible. Comí una hamburguesa mediocre, pero mis padres comieron la peor pasta que he visto en mi vida. Espaguetis bañados en una aguada salsa blanca y un puñado de mariscos, acompañados de un trozo de pan de maravilla tostado. Todo por unos 8000 colones o $20 CAD cada uno. Debería haber tomado una foto de lo que se sirvió, fue impactante. Se lo comieron porque teníamos mucha hambre después de un día de actividades. El restaurante prácticamente vacío debería haber sido un indicio. No sabíamos qué decir cuando nos preguntaron si estaba bien, sólo queríamos irnos e irnos a casa.

Su personal es poco amable y me quédo corta. Se da el servicio de mala manera, y atienden a clientes que llegaron después de uno y te dejan esperando más rato. A la muchacha solo le falto decir que nos fuéramos con la cara que nos hacia. La comida y el precio estaban bien pero todo lo arruina el servicio de esta persona tan indispuesta. Cabe recalcar que fuimos amables al saludar y decir gracias y ni así.

No volvería.

Fui dos veces. Me atendieron dos personas diferentes y las dos personas con un pésimo servicio y actitud. En ambas ocasiones era el único cliente.

La comida regular. Nada especial.

Horrifying Experience!

While I was there having breakfast, I found a hair in my food, I called the waitress to let her know in a polite way. She apologized took the food into the kitchen, but a few seconds later a guy was yelling and slapping her on the face. I found out that the man was her husband. I was shocked, didn't know what do. Put money on the table and left.

Mientras estaba alli desayunando, encontré un pelo en mi comida, llamé a la mesera para avisarle de manera educada. Se disculpó y se llevó la comida a la cocina, pero unos segundos después un chico estaba gritando y bofeteándola en la cara. Descubrí que el hombre era su marido. Me sorprendió, no sabía qué hacer. Puse dinero en la mesa y se fui.

All the food and drinks came out 15 minutes apart, we waited an hour and a half for the food to come out, the last dish did not come out until after everyone was done eating. Would recommend any restaurant in the plaza over this place. The steak was ok.

He ido algunas veces, pero la atención ya no es tan buena como antes, al baño le falta mucho aseo

Place itself was nice. Service unfriendly where it seemed we were disturbing the waiter when trying to order. Food was decent but ordered a latte with almond milk asking specifically if the milk was unsweetened and got confirmation that it was. After waiting 20mins+ (and food arrived) asked if the latte was coming and was told without any sympathy or apology that they didn't have almond milk and someone had gone to the store. 10mins later (and the food being eaten) the latte arrived though it was very sweet - at this point I just drank it as I knew I didn't have time to wait another 30mins for a latte.

Muy buenos precios, especialmente para estar tan cerca de la playa y ser un lugar turístico

We had a great 'typical' Costa Rican breakfast with eggs, bacon and Gallo Pinto. Outdoor cafe with pretty good service.

Es un lugar económico para la zona de Jaco, buen servicio, buenos precios y la comida acorde al precio!

La atención es excelente, ambiente bastante familiar el salonero maneja muy bien. La información del menú. La comida está buena.

¡Fuimos con nuestro grupo de 7 y todos lo disfrutaron! Lo agregaremos al libro de visitas de nuestro Airbnb. Comí costillas, que estaban geniales, y la pasta con camarones y la pasta de Emma fueron excelentes.

Altamente recomendado, ¡y definitivamente volveremos!

Wonderful food, amazing staff. Had multiple meals here during our stay in Bejuco and we we love it each time.

My husband and I had an incredible meal here! We had one of the specials which was mahi mahi with shrimp and a chicken entree. Everything was cooked perfectly with amazing flavor. Our service was really great as well. Best service we have had in Costa Rica so far!

Maui Maui with garlic pepper sauce and fresh steamed veggies. So good! Husband had Salmon with avocado and veggies. Also great. 2 lunches, one white wine and an ice tea. 22,000 colones

We are so glad we found this little gem across from where we were staying and couldn’t be more pleased with the food and service! We were looking for a place for breakfast and felt so blessed to have Derek as our waiter. He spoke very good English and had great customer service skills, then of course the food was just as good! Then we were looking for a place for dinner and saw the special menu they were having that night so we decided to make reservations, we asked if he was working and he said that he wouldn’t but that Francisco would take just as good as care and that he did! We were very pleased with everything! The food was absolutely delicious, the prices was very reasonable and the customer service was just as outstanding as Derek had given us! We will definitely be back when come back to Bejuco!
