Encantada Ocean Cottages

Es un lugar agradable, tranquilo para disfrutar de la naturaleza. Es sencillo en cuanto a construcción pero con las comodidades básicas. Buena comida con muy buen sabor, casi todo se prepara en parrilla lo que da un sabor especial, me parecen pocas opciones en el menú. Servicio al huéspedes excelente. Seguro. Limpio.

¡Me encantó nuestra estancia en Encantada Cottages! Desde el magnífico entorno tropical frente al mar de CR hasta el increíble Happy Hour semanal, el delicioso restaurante y los alojamientos auténticos, nuestra estadía fue una gran experiencia. El personal fue íntimo, amable y muy servicial. Un saludo a la propietaria Tiffany y su esposo, los gerentes Ricky y Kira. Personal Jairo, Gianni, Jason, Shirley, excelentes cocineros y servicio de limpieza.
Por último, pero no menos importante, las increíbles profesoras de yoga Veronica y Anabelle, quienes nos dieron una serenata con sabiduría, guitarra y voz durante la postura savasana. Un lugar verdaderamente especial con gente especial.

No nos quedamos en sus cabañas, solo teníamos un pase de un día. 25$ pp y puedes gastarlo en comida y bebida. Súper conveniente. Fue realmente bueno. El personal es amable, servicial y acogedor. Hay varias opciones para tomar el sol: hamacas, tumbonas, acogedoras camas y sillas. Tuvimos suerte y esa noche hubo una fiesta con música realmente genial.
También puedes venir y tener una sesión de yoga allí.
La comida era realmente buena, la disfruté.
Y hubo una verdadera ducha, pero hizo que nuestra estancia fuera aún más agradable y especial.

No podría haber tenido una estancia más increíble. Elegimos Encantada Ocean Cottages después de que nuestros amigos lo sugirieran y habíamos estado dos veces. ¡No decepcionaron! ¡El servicio fue increíble! Desde la recepción, los camareros, el personal de cocina, el personal de limpieza, los propietarios, los instructores de surf, los que sean, todos son maravillosos.

Las cabañas eran preciosas y limpias, de estilo bohemio ostentoso. (Muy relajado)
La comida era realmente buena. Ahora tomamos el desayuno "tradicional" regularmente en casa (el de ellos es mejor).

Las playas son estupendas para nadar y surfear y también son muy tranquilas. Pasábamos más de una hora en el agua cada vez y solo pasaban unas pocas personas. La piscina es perfecta para refrescarse por la noche.

Nos fugamos al atardecer en la playa frente al resort y fue mágico. Tuvimos algunas necesidades de último minuto que no habíamos considerado (como mi ramo LOL) y el personal del resort ayudó a configurar todo muy fácilmente.

El transporte hacia y desde otros sitios turísticos fue increíblemente fácil, cómodo y seguro.

Habíamos considerado traer un perro callejero a casa con nosotros y nos sorprendió cuánto apoyo habríamos tenido para hacer esto realidad. No tuvimos suficiente tiempo en este último viaje (porque también estábamos organizando una boda), ¡pero esperamos tenerlo la próxima vez! ¡Muchas gracias a los propietarios y al personal de allí por preocuparse tanto por los animales de su zona!

First real vacation in a very long time, just checked out today and already ready to go back. Most relaxed I have felt in years, which was very much needed. Everything and everyone there was truly amazing- the location, the service, the people, and the food. Pura Vida at its finest.

Recommended to stay at by a friend. This place is a gem! Friendly staff, beautiful cottages, remote beach access, great food, and daily yoga classes. The best meals of our entire trip in Costa Rica was at Encantada!

I stayed at Encantada for a Women’s retreat and it was an Amazing experience! The cottages were charming, very cozy and clean. The view and beach were absolutely heavenly! Veronica, the yoga instructor was so warm and inviting. Meals were excellent and they were accommodating to all the different diet restrictions and preferences. We also enjoyed the grounds pets; everyone was so warm and welcoming! Thank you to all the staff at Encantada you made our experience truly memorable!

This was our 4th retreat with Encantada and it will not be our last. The attention to detail, delicious food, and staff make this place really special. It's a wonderful place to leave the stress behind and really focus on self care. Highly recommended!

I have hosted two yoga retreats here and I cannot say enough about how wonderful this place is. The food is so delicious and healthy. The atmosphere is bright and relaxing and everything you would expect from a beachfront oasis. It's smaller which is perfect when you want a place that you can have for yourself. I highly recommend this to anyone who wants to host a small and intimate yoga retreat. THANK YOU!

This review is for the restaurant only. The kids burger and yucca fries came out first, but the place was empty so we thought we would have quick delivery. The 3 other dishes - ceviche, another burger and fish tacos arrived 30 minutes later! They were cold and soggy, and devoid of flavor. A total bummer. Maybe someone went on break … but our experience at their restaurant was blah and super slow. Beach looked awesome, hotel looked cute, grounds were well kept and the staff was nice.

So I never stayed at the hotel but I went to a yoga class hosted by Christina. Holly Molly. I'm kinda intermediate but not an expert. Her class wa intense yet at the end super stretching. It was exactly what i needed. Thank you Christina!

Attentive and friendly staff. The cottage rooms are clean, the beds are comfortable and the outdoor restaurant has good food. The grounds are so pretty and lush with a salt water pool and ocean right there. Great morning walks along the beach and daily yoga. I had a wonderful 90 minute massage after yoga one day with Erika outside looking at the beach. You can’t help but leave there destressed and relaxed.

The Encantada Ocean Cottages are laid back luxury. The staff were very accommodating and friendly. This location has all that you need and if you need much more then you are missing the point of Encantada. The management is happy to help with your excursion plans and every one that we went on was a fun interaction with the local operators. If you want a relaxing vacation with a daily dose of excitement then start with Encantada.

Excellent service, fresh food, beautiful beach; a perfect way to spend a summer trip! Nice staff with great catering, and a pleasant owner. I was even able to get the tropical experience by cutting down my own coconut and drinking out of it upon request! Honestly can't say enough about how well I was treated here and how pleasant the experience was.

Tiffany was an amazing hostess and worked really hard to help our group make the most of our visit to Costa Rica. We had a group of five families trying to figure out which excursions we wanted to do, and Tiffany took our desires and came up with a great schedule that allowed our group to get the most out of our time.

We opted for the all inclusive meals, and not one was a miss! All original Costa Rican plates including fish, chicken, rice, plantains, and of course, beans.

All of the staff worked hard to make us feel like part of the Costa Rican family. Daniel and Byron made sure to keep our glasses topped off and that we had everything we needed at meal times.

The only issue we experienced were a few of the rooms had some minor maintenance issues, but once they were reported they were taken care of quickly.

I would highly recommend placing this spot in your top ten if you want a true Costa Rican experience. Our family will definitely look here first if we get to return to Costa Rica.

This place is amazing Great views, amazing service and excellent food. You also get to collect shells on the beach. The only little thing is that there is no bathroom quickly accessible. You have to go back to your room and unlock it ti use the restroom. But that is the only LITTLE thing.

This place was so amazing. Absolutely gorgeous grounds, incredible staff that went above and beyond for my family, cute and comfortable cottages, great location that was close enough to everything we wanted to do, I cannot say enough good things about Encantada. I loved our stay and recommend it to everyone. Can’t wait to go back!

GREAT mini-resort! What a wonderful stay! The staff is amazing and made us feel like family. We will ABSOLUTELY be back! This just became my wife's and I "private" getaway.

A nice beach bar/restaurant that seems to cater to the yoga crowd. Food-wise I've only tried their fish tacos which were no better than OK. Service is always great! The kitchen is closed on Wednesdays. My wife says the margaritas are good but tiny! Beer prices are a bit more than other beach restaurants. Often has a live band. Popular with expats and a pretty popular place overall. Ordinarily I'd give 4 stars but the lack of seating was a real turn-off for me.
