Café Monteverde Coffee Shop

¡Excelente café! Los camareros se tomaron el tiempo de explicarnos (en inglés) las diferentes técnicas de elaboración de cerveza y nos hicieron excelentes recomendaciones. Teníamos el asado de miel elaborado por vandola. Estaba delicioso.

¡Uno de los mejores cafés que he probado! Tienen degustación de café gratuita pero algunas de las muestras se acabaron. El lugar puede estar ocupado. Regresé un poco del café a casa y sigo disfrutándolo todas las mañanas.

Lugar pequeño pero muy bonito para pasar el tiempo. El café era bueno, los precios un poco más altos. Recomendado.

Excelente café, con degustación gratuita de cafés locales costarricenses, además de comida deliciosa y un personal amable. El pergamino de canela fue el mejor que he probado (¡y era vegano!). Definitivamente muchas opciones veganas.

Descubrir este lugar de café en Monteverde fue un absoluto placer. La cálida bienvenida del cajero marcó la pauta y su amabilidad fue realmente apreciada. Hacer nuestro pedido fue muy sencillo e incluso lo trajeron a nuestra mesa en el piso superior. Su selección de café es impresionante y lo que más me llamó la atención fue la oportunidad de probar diferentes variedades en el área del bar. Es un toque reflexivo que realmente aprecié. Este lugar es una joya con un personal realmente amable y una experiencia de café excepcional. No puedo elogiarlo lo suficiente por el maravilloso ambiente y la gente amable.

Greeted by very friendly staff. I wish I could have eaten every pastry in there - they all looked high quality. Got the empanada and the cinnamon roll which were both warmed up and very good. Also got smoothies that were large and that could have just been our breakfast. I wish I got a coffee as it smelled so good and the options were great but I’m not a usual coffee drinker and needed a smoothie!

Hay cafe de especialidad buenisimo! Y mucha variedad en bakery, esta todo BUENÍSIMO. Las chicas son suuuper simpáticas y atentas (quien nos ha atendido esta tarde era encantadora!:)
Además venden cafe 4500c/250g y tienen termos con minitacitas para que pruebes, gratuitamente, todas las variedades!

Nice coffee shop, tasting possible. Different coffee Styles and also some food. Empanada and especially the maracuja cake was very good.

Yum! Loved their savory pastries, particularly the panuelo with chicken and heart of palm. Also enjoyed their coffee, although more information about the different non-espresso offerings would be helpful to those who are not local. They offer many different local drip methods (chorredor and more), but those methods are likely to be new to tourists.

Didn't try the food but the coffee was simply amazing. After travelling for half a day, the iced latte really hit the spot.

Delicious cinnamon roll but the latte with coconut milk was the best! The atmosphere is great and cozy and the girl that makes the coffee is lovely and fast.
GET THE PASSION FRUIT BREAD! So delicious and moist.

Great coffee that you can order via several brewing methods (Chemex, V60, etc) and great vegan cinnamon rolls. You can also sample their coffees for free before ordering!

Muy buen lugar, el ambiente es super calido y el servicio es EXCELENTE, seria muy bueno que puedan ofrecer cafe con tueste claro para apreciar las notas, creo que puede haber un gran porcentaje del publico que le gustaria probar café de calidad, recomiendo el filtrado en Vandola con granos de beneficio Honey, mas que recomendado

Café monteverde coffee is the only coffee I have ever enjoyed black. It is so, so good. Not sure how well it would translate to an espresso drink…I might go elsewhere if you’re looking for a vanilla latte or something. But if you want damn good simple coffee (chorreador or french press are my favs) and a delicious cinnamon roll…this is the place to be.

A nice place serving Monteverde coffee and treats. One day I had the cold brew with coconut milk and another day I had honey roasted coffee served using the traditional Costa Rican coffee jug and filter. Both were excellent. My children enjoyed their smoothies and a cinnamon bun from there.

Jolie place, très cozy pour se reposer après une longue randonnée dans la forêt! Gâteau espresso était surprenant, nous l’avons apprécié. La place paraît récente!

Great coffee and incredible cinnamon scrolls! You can do a free tasting of the different coffee beans and choose your brewing method. There is also a big space upstairs for larger tables and/or co-working.

Tienen café de especialidad, bien seleccionado, tostado y preparado, hacen coffe tours y se nota a través de sus productos que están realmente involucrados en el mundo del café. El lugar y la atención son excelentes y el clima de Monteverde se presta para tomar y tomar café, nada más que decir, mejor vayan y compruebenlo.
