Comida impresionante de un equipo hábil e impresionante. Todo estaba perfectamente preparado. Carne tierna y deliciosa, langostinos enormes y carnosos, postres deliciosos. Buenos cócteles y selección de vinos. Ingredientes muy frescos. El personal fue súper atento y muy amable. No puedo criticar este restaurante. Incluso en una noche calurosa, los ventiladores de techo y los lados abiertos mantenían el aire en movimiento y nos mantenían cómodos. El resto del hotel parece bonito. La vista de la hermosa y pequeña piscina aumentaba la sensación de ocasión. El jefe de cocina estaba dando vueltas, ocupándose del funcionamiento de la cocina mientras saludaba a los invitados. Definitivamente regresaría.

El chef Patrick y el equipo fueron de primera clase. La comida y el ambiente fueron excepcionales. Los platos estrella tenían que ser: los calamares, los ravioles de pato, la pesca del día y el postre de zapatilla de mango. ¡Definitivamente regresaremos! Además el chef ha cocinado para 7 presidentes y reinas.

Tuve un almuerzo increíble en Villa Deevena. El ambiente, el servicio y la comida eran perfectos. Gran selección de vinos. Me encantaría quedarme la próxima vez y experimentar el despertar con un día junto a la piscina.

Por dónde empezar con esta pequeña joya increíble, escondida a poca distancia de la playa en Costa Rica, la comida es del siguiente nivel y utiliza solo ingredientes locales y frescos preparados por el famoso chef Patrick Jamon y personal capacitado. A solo 5 minutos a pie de la playa desde unas cabinas súper limpias junto a la piscina, mi viaje fue fácil para disfrutar de un café por la mañana con unos fantásticos huevos Benedict y luego ir a pescar con algunas de las flotas pesqueras de la zona. Cuando en el barco los pescadores de Deevena utilizaron una técnica llamada Ikejime para despachar pescado que crea un producto superior, este es el pescado que se utiliza en Villa Deevena, gracias al Chef Patrick Jamon y a la Diseñadora Tasia Jamon, esta increíble pequeña joya gastronómica sigue brillando.luz

Tuve la suerte de probar un almuerzo con menú sorpresa en Villa Deveena y ¡fue increíble! Patrick, el chef, explicó que tanto los palitos de pescado como el tartar de atún estaban elaborados con pescado pescado por su hijo esa misma mañana. Lo más destacado para mí fueron primero las albóndigas de pato, que estaban llenas de delicioso umami, y mi favorita, las alcachofas cocidas rellenas de risotto y cubiertas con langosta. Todo estaba delicioso y debo mencionar el pan casero recién salido del horno y el desierto de chocolate. ¡Qué lujo! Tenga en cuenta que algunos de estos platos no están en el menú habitual. Si quieres un menú sorpresa como este, es posible que tengas que pedirlo con unos días de antelación.

Coming to this place for lunch, dinner, brunch, or coffee is reason enough for a trip to Los Pargos. To stay and enjoy the beautiful pool and to get to know the owners and staff is pura vida.

Villa Deevena is an absolute gem. Located in the smallest of coastal towns in beautiful, rural Costa Rica, the service and the meal were absolutely impeccable. The grilled octopus appetizer was exceptional and the Oso Buco was among the best I've ever tasted. A truly memorable dining experience made even better by the wonderful owners.

Last minute dinner and Villa Deevena did not disappoint! Ceviche was fantastic. Family atmosphere. Dean was really friendly. We’ll be coming back.

Amazing food, very nice and attentive staff, Dean spent a lot of time speaking with our family and sharing the story about the restaurant. Amazing scallop risotto, pork shoulder, and octopus appetizer. Sashimi appetizer was also to die for

Place is pretty terrible, overpriced lettuce they cal Caesar salad, rubber like octopus. The only saving grace was the live music.

Echoing what someone here called “the gem of the jungle” villa deevena has patrick and tasia, dean and especially joyia to make your meals superb and your stay a delight, the setting is serene and full of flora and fauna, the rooms minimalist in the best way! The whole country is so laid back you don’t need much but what villa deevena has to offer is exactly what you want! Va y disfrute, pura vida

We had a beautiful girls night here to celebrate a great day. The staff was so lovely and accommodating to all our needs, and the space is lovely too. The owners hail from Venice, CA so we know they know good food!

The menu is mostly geared toward seafood which makes eating for vegetarians and certainly vegans a little tough. I’m sure if you let them know your dietary preferences, they may be able to come up with something for you!

Most of us ordered the catch of the day as our main course. And we started with the octopus.
The have bread service for the table and an extensive wine and cocktail list for the drinkers.

Food is good but overpriced, overpriced drinks, taxes and service not included in the menu price, expect a 23% increase at the end.

Good service by the waiting staff.

No wow factor.

Even the multitude of positive reviews and accolades didn’t prepare me for a truly unforgettable dining experience! Service was extremely prompt, food was delicious (especially liked the crispy duck ravioli!), and the wine list was interesting and QUITE extensive given the location. Highly recommend!

This was not our first visit but we did take friends with us this time that had never experienced this beautiful “jewel “ tucked away and they too absolutely loved it! From the beautiful pool to the rooms that are so minimalistic in the best way (outdoor shower, shutters, polished concrete and espresso in each room). That is not even the best part…the best part is the AMAZING food prepared by Chef Patrick! Absolutely 5 star! We drive 2 hours just to stay here and it is always worth it!

Lindo lugar, buena cocina, muy alto precio. Lo malo fue que me cobraron un agua que no pedí y que tenía sabor a tubería.
