TARGET CAR RENTAL LIBERIA

Hemos utilizado el alquiler de autos Target dos veces. En ambas ocasiones obtuvimos autos excepcionales que eran básicamente nuevos. El Suzuki Jimny que alquilamos esta vez fue muy divertido de conducir y manejó todos los caminos de grava más salvajes y empinados con facilidad. El personal es amable y conocedor de las rutas a seguir y los recorridos que puede probar. Nos recogieron y nos dejaron en el aeropuerto exactamente como dijeron que lo harían, y no hubo tarifas ocultas: el precio que le cotizan es el precio que pagará. Su precio parecerá más alto que el de otras empresas porque no ocultan las tarifas que Costa Rica exige que le cobren. No busque más, Target es la compañía que debe utilizar si vuela desde Liberia.

Mi esposo y yo alquilamos un auto por 14 días a través de esta compañía y todo fue excelente, desde el servicio al cliente hasta el auto de alquiler. Esta empresa fue sincera y honesta sobre el precio, lo cual apreciamos. Recomendaría ampliamente esta empresa y definitivamente la usaremos nuevamente en el futuro.

No podríamos haber esperado un mejor servicio y una mejor experiencia en general. Su empleado fue muy atento, educado y cortés. Se ofrecieron a recogernos en el aeropuerto y no tuvimos ningún problema en encontrarlos. El auto (Suzuki Grand Vitara) estaba impecable y listo para funcionar cuando llegamos. Sin sorpresas ni cargos ocultos. No se sorprenda de que su precio sea más alto que el de grandes empresas como Alamo, Avis, Budget, etc. Incluyen en su precio la cobertura a terceros la cual es obligatoria por ley en Costa Rica. Las sillas de auto están incluidas en el precio y estaban limpias y perfectamente ajustadas al tamaño y peso de nuestros niños. Los recomendaría ampliamente. ¡Siempre es bueno alentar a las pequeñas empresas locales prósperas que ofrecen este nivel de servicio!

Tuvimos una experiencia de alquiler de primer nivel con Target. Ricardo nos recogió en el aeropuerto puntualmente. Es muy profesional y amigable. El precio era muy razonable. El Jimny era el coche perfecto. En general, una de las mejores experiencias que he tenido como viajero por el mundo. Muy recomendable.

Esta fue la experiencia de alquiler más fácil y transparente que he tenido en 15 años de viaje. A primera vista, sus precios parecen un poco más altos que otros, pero le muestran todas las tarifas obligatorias que se requieren en Costa Rica (incluso si tiene un seguro de tarjeta de crédito, lo cual nosotros tenemos). Con las "otras empresas" se le pedirá que pague una cantidad no revelada en el mostrador, lo que rápidamente aumentará los precios, y también tendrá que lidiar con el típico empujón y la falta de transparencia para venderle más. Target no hizo nada de esto. Definitivamente usaré Target nuevamente. Además, son de propiedad local y no de una gran cadena nacional, por lo que estás ayudando a la economía local. El auto era muy lindo, estaban esperando en el aeropuerto con un cartel para llevarnos a la tienda de alquiler y tenían el auto esperando. También tenían un servicio de transporte listo para llevarnos de regreso al aeropuerto cuando dejamos el auto. Nos brindaron consejos y recomendaciones para moverse por Costa Rica mientras conducíamos de un lado a otro. El proceso fue rápido y sin complicaciones. ¡¡Altamente recomendado! P. Visitamos a principios de septiembre. Reservé el alquiler por correo electrónico y me dieron un presupuesto que incluía todo. Fue muy razonable. Tenemos el seguro obligatorio a través de nuestra tarjeta de crédito, pero para ahorrarnos la molestia simplemente pagamos el de ellos y obtuvimos el nivel medio de cobertura.

Llegamos temprano al aeropuerto y ya había alguien esperándonos. Nos ayudó a subir a su camioneta y cargó nuestro equipaje. Completamos el papeleo y nos mostró el mapa de Costa Rica y nos dio algunas sugerencias de lugares para detenernos en el camino a nuestro destino.

Alquilamos un Jimny porque siempre quise conducir uno. El auto estuvo genial. Estaba en buenas condiciones. Hizo una inspección muy exhaustiva del automóvil antes de que nos fuéramos y señaló todos los rayones y abolladuras anteriores para que los documentáramos. Cuando devolvimos el coche fue rápido y nos dejaron en el aeropuerto.

Si alguna vez volvemos a viajar a Costa Rica, utilizaremos el alquiler de autos de Target.

La empresa es legítima. Usted paga lo que cotiza de la compañía a menos que desee pagar más por diferentes opciones de seguro. Mi depósito fue devuelto poco después de la entrega. El servicio al cliente de Ricardo que va más allá es único. ¡Apoye a esta agencia de alquiler costarricense local!

Guys you are simply great. We had a very nice and smooth experience with target car rental in liberia, we rented a suzuki jimny almost new and it was totally worth given the road conditions in CR especially Monteverde.
Meinor and Ricardo are so welcoming, helpful and humble guys.
We remembered that we missed to buy some souveniers when returning the car, guess what, Ricardo took us to a store to help us buy stuff at the last moment and also shared lots of information about Costa Rica which only a local can tell.

I'd highly recommend renting from these guys as this is a local business not like those big brands Hertz, national etc.

Great experience! They picked us up from the airport and dropped us off. The process of signing for the car was quick, but also very informative and thorough. There's a reason this place has so many great reviews. I would definitely recommend renting from Target!

Ricardo in the Liberia office is one of the most professional and kindest people we met on our 6th trip to Costa Rica. We went out of his way to make our life with 3 kids easier and accommodated us whenever we needed flexibility.

They are reliable, fairly priced and we had no issues with any of the 3 vehicles we rented. I highly recommend this business!

April 2023- We rented a Suzuki Grand Vitara from the Liberia location. We reserved online a few months prior to arriving. The price quoted was very competitive and promised no surprise fees. Email communication was fast and responsive. Ricardo met us at Liberia airport with a sign. He was friendly and very helpful. He was thorough and explained everything very clearly and had great customer service. This man deserves a promotion!
The SUV was not brand new but was very clean and everything worked as it should. It had an apple carplay/android auto capable touchscreen so GPS and mapping weren't and issue.
The return was fast and painless. The price charged was what I was quoted months ago and there was no hidden fees. Ricardo then dropped us off at the airport in the shuttle van. He talked about how he had worked for Target for 8 yrs and prior to that was at another car rental company who were a bit shady. He said it's so nice to work for a company that is upfront and treats their customers well. Don't let the smaller size of the company deter you. Amazing prices and great customer service! Highly recommend! 10/10

We have rented twice from Target and both experiences have been seamless. Ricky and Maynor have both been incredibly helpful and Target will continue to be our go to location for a car rental. This last trip we were stuck in traffic and at risk of missing our flight. Ricky came to the rescue by meeting us at the departure terminal and communicated with us along the way, even sending us pictures of the line at the airport so we knew what to expect.

If you are coming to target car rental because you think it’s the most affordable think again.
To keep it short this place is a massive scam.
The 5 star reviews you see here in Google are fake.
Don’t get fooled by their initial kindness when they pick you up from the airport.
Some of their cars have previous damage and they repair it themselves, rent the car, let the damage happen again in the same spot and try to blame you for it. This happens to several people and they repeat the same process. We confronted them and they knew they were guilty. They steal your money and will not release your deposit even if they say they are. Maynor and Richard who seem to run the place in Liberia (if that’s their real names) are thief’s.

We were so impressed by the rental experience by Ricardo and Alex. They made traveling to another country so easy! They provided such friendly service and took the time to truly make sure we had all our questions answered.

We rented the 4x4 Jimny for one week and had a great experience. The car was brand new and we didn’t have any problems with it. The roads in Costa Rica are a little rough but the car handled them perfectly. Ricardo was also very responsive and we appreciated the fact that he was upfront and honest with prices and insurance information as well as being a locally owned company. Overall would highly recommend and use again!

Car was flawless. It had much more suitable rainy season tires than our friend’s 4wd that they rented from the competition.

The employees were friendly and the quote matched what we paid.

The only downside was a little bit of supplementary insurance hard sell, but it was not that bad.

We rented a Jimny for a week long trip at the beginning of December. So glad we decided to go with Target Rental Car. Ricardo was so friendly and helpful and happy to answer questions. The car was exactly what we needed for our trip and the price was exactly what was quoted with no surprises. Thank you to Target and to Ricardo!

Rented a 4x4 Suzuki November 13 thru the 20th 2022. We were a 1/2 hour late on arrival but our greeter Alex waited with a sign with our name on it. Alex handled our bags shuttled us to their terminal to fill out the paperwork. Alex explained everything we needed to know and sent on our way. Great rate, solid vehicle and great service by Alex!

Suzuki Jimny was so fun. Favorite vehicle I've ever driven, and they are the only rental place in town where you can rent one.

Ricardo at Targets Liberia location was awesome to work with. Every detail was taken care of, he gave me his personal cell in case I needed anything and made sure I knew everything about the rental car. The car itself was great and perfect for my needs. I 100% recommended this company. They are my new go-to in CR!
