Sueño del Mar B&B

Estuve buscando un destino de boda en Costa Rica durante unos meses antes de que quedara muy claro que Sueño Del Mar era el lugar perfecto para celebrar la boda de mis sueños. Nunca antes había estado en Costa Rica, ni en Sueño Del Mar. Me desvié estrictamente de las reseñas que había leído y de las redes sociales que había visto. No podría haber elegido un lugar más perfecto para quedarme 5 días y celebrar mi boda. Lo último que quiere una novia es estar estresada durante la planificación de la boda, Eduardo y Sol hicieron que todo el proceso fuera lo más simple y fácil posible. Como pareja que viaja mucho, tendemos a ser muy exigentes con las habitaciones, la comida, la limpieza y el servicio al cliente. Cuando te digo que no habría NI UNA cosa que hubiera cambiado, lo digo en serio. No hay ni una sola queja que se me ocurra si quisiera. Las habitaciones estaban impecables y las camas eran probablemente las mejores en las que he dormido. La comida era deliciosa todas las mañanas hecha por Lili. Y la comida de la boda fue nada menos que perfecta por parte de Eduardo y Sol. La atención de Sol al detalle y la planificación de la boda condujeron a la boda más perfecta y de ensueño que jamás hubiera pedido. Nos recomendaron proveedores para elegir y además fueron nada menos que perfectos. Nadia me dio el cabello y el maquillaje perfectos para hacerme sentir muy segura el día de mi boda, y me hizo reír todo el tiempo mientras me preparaba. Los diseños de Los primos hicieron realidad todas mis visiones de decoración y generaron la configuración tropical más soñadora. Dj Zach puso la lista de reproducción perfecta y mantuvo a mis invitados en la pista bailando y divirtiéndose toda la noche. Victoria zoch preparó y entregó los postres más deliciosos. ¡Y Adriana Méndez y su equipo fueron los fotógrafos más divertidos y profesionales que podríamos haber pedido! Mi esposo y yo nunca visitamos lugares más de una vez, pero incluso antes de irnos decidimos que este será un lugar al que vendremos anualmente. Todos los invitados que asistieron dijeron que fueron las mejores vacaciones en las que habían estado y también la mejor boda en la que habían estado (incluida la suya propia, jaja). No podemos agradecer lo suficiente a Sueño Del Mar, especialmente a Eduardo y Sol. Hablaremos de este viaje y boda toda la vida, así que gracias.

Recomiendo encarecidamente este espectacular B&B si buscas alejarte del centro de Tamarindo. Boutique, tranquilidad y vistas para morirse.

Hotel absolutamente impresionante. Teníamos una habitación bastante pequeña, pero las encantadoras zonas comunes y la playa definitivamente lo compensan. ¡El desayuno fue el mejor que hemos tenido en Costa Rica!

Recientemente pasé una semana en Tamarindo con un amigo y a ambos nos encantó nuestra estadía en el Hotel Sueño Del Mar. El hotel está situado justo en la playa y es fácil llegar andando a la ciudad desde la calle o desde la playa. La propiedad tiene un ambiente relajante, con muchas hamacas y tumbonas para disfrutar del atardecer.

Todo el personal de Sueño Del Mar fue extremadamente servicial y amable. Eduardo, el propietario, respondió a nuestros mensajes a través de WhatsApp e incluso pudo mejorar nuestra habitación cuando otro huésped canceló. Suzanna nos ayudó a organizar el transporte desde el aeropuerto y Víctor siempre estuvo feliz de satisfacer nuestras sensibilidades a los lácteos en el desayuno.

El desayuno en Sueño Del Mar fue uno de los mejores que he probado. No soy un gran admirador de los burritos de desayuno ni de los huevos rancheros, pero realmente disfruté la comida en Sueño Del Mar. El café, la fruta y el postre estaban deliciosos.

Las amas de llaves también fueron muy eficientes y minuciosas. Nuestra habitación estaba siempre limpia y ordenada, y la cama siempre estaba perfectamente hecha.

En general, tuvimos una experiencia maravillosa en el Hotel Sueño Del Mar. El personal fue increíble, el desayuno delicioso y la ubicación perfecta. Recomendaría altamente este hotel a cualquiera que busque una estancia relajante y agradable en Tamarindo.

We stayed here for our honeymoon and had the absolute best experience! Eduardo and Sol are so hospitable and all the staff is so kind and friendly. We looked forward to Lily’s breakfast every morning! Sooo delicious. It is such a beautiful, quaint, spot to stay at with amazing views. We definitely plan to return!

Magic. The kind of place you want the whole world to know about, but also want to keep a secret just for yourself. We spent a week here and everything was perfection: the casita, the breakfast, the setting, the attentive staff (we miss you, Victor). It’s quiet and off of the noisy part of town yet close to everything you could need. Cute restaurants in walking distance, monkeys in the trees. I could go on and on, and can not wait to go back.
Put Sueño Del Mar at the top of your list. You won’t regret it.

We stayed at Sueno de Mar for 5 nights. It was perfect.
We felt so welcome by everyone at the boutique hotel. The setting and hotel are storybook beautiful.
Being on the beach away a mile or 2 from the busy fun town of Tamarindo was a big plus.

It doesn’t get better than Sueno Del Mar. Everything is simple, but elegantly thought out. I wouldn’t recommend anywhere else but here. The breakfast is hands down the best you can get and it is made with great care and love. The people here care very much and they take great attention to detail and really care about you and your comfort. The grounds and views from the hotel are priceless. Be sure to sit on the day beds in the afternoon, watch the sunset and spend some time stargazing. If you have the chance, don’t pass this one up!

We started our trip here and I felt at ease as soon as we walked in. It’s a little paradise with all of the most perfect and thoughtful details. Amazing staff, views, spots to relax, and a great location away from the busy town yet close enough to visit daily. I was really grateful we chose to stay here.

A must stay. Looking for a relaxing beach front hotel with a great breakfast and wonderful staff this is your place. Not to far from shops and food and then get away from all the people and just relax and watch the amazing sunsets.

Wow! Cannot explain how magical this little spot is. My husband and I came here for our honeymoon and everything was absolutely perfect. Sol & Eduardo are amazing people and know how to make you feel at home. Truly a slice of heaven. We will 1000% be back!

Sueno del Mar totally lives up to its name - it is a dream by the sea! As soon as you enter the lush property you know your vacation has begun.

Our family stayed in the Casita Osita for the week and it was perfect. My wife and I got some privacy in the loft, the couch/twin beds worked great for our boys and the howler monkeys were the perfect alarm clock every morning!

You can’t talk about Sueno Del Mar without mentioning the included breakfast. It’s an amazing 3 courses everyday, usually a fruit plate, a delicious entree like an omelet or burrito and a dessert. They were gracious to make pancakes for our boys too. People not staying at the hotel would come in off the beach for the best breakfast in town.

The staff is fantastic - Eduardo and Sol made sure we were comfortable, had everything we needed and helped us to book local activities. Lily and Victor provided us the fantastic breakfasts and made us feel so welcome.

The property is lush and right on the beach at Playa Langosta. The hammocks, chairs and beds in the back are the perfect place to spend a lazy beach afternoon.

We came back almost everyday around sunset to relax in the pool which is the best place to take in the sunset - absolutely stunning. And it’s super close to the hustle and bustle of Tamarindo if you want to go into town for some excitement. You get the best of both worlds at Sueno del Mar, I can’t recommend it enough.

What a dreamy place to enjoy the ocean, the sun, yummy mornings, lazy afternoons, and stunning sunsets. The entire property is so adorable and homey, the rooms are spacious and with wonderful decorations, the bed super extra comfy, and the outdoor shower is absolutely amazing.
The hosts are so helpful with anything needed from reservations and recommendations, to telling you about the place and surroundings. With their help and recommendations, I took a catamaran sunset sail with Marlin del Rey (wonderful experience) and enjoyed a fabulous spa day at Sibou.

This place is awesome. Stayed with friends for a family wedding on the beach this month. Owners were awesome! Very friendly staff! Awesome food! Loved the decor! Walked out of room right onto the beach. The pool and beach setup was incredible, beach beds, hammocks and chairs to relax and enjoy! Oh and the sunsets on the beach! They were the most beautiful sunsets I've ever seen! If you ever get a chance to go, take that leap! You will not regret it!

We are so happy we chose Sueño Del Mar. The rooms are so cool and we loved the authentic feel of an outdoor shower (very private), grabbing a cup of coffee and then sitting at the beach.

Breakfast was exceptional with Lily and Victor greeting us with warmth and smiles each morning.

The pool is surrounded by huge trees, so the sun is not too overwhelming. My 12y old son and I sat in the pool watching monkeys and coatis in the trees and birds fly over head.

My son found a coconut and Randy was kind enough to crack it open for us. Fun experience.
Sol and Eduardo are very kind and accommodating. They kept us well-informed about our options locally and their recommendations were on point.

A short walk to the busy and bustling town of Tamarindo feels like a different world. It was lively and offered several shopping and restaurant options, but you’d never know how loud it is when sitting by the pool at SDM. Truly the best of both worlds.

The sunsets are exceptional. People would line the beach to catch a glimpse of what SDM sees every day. You can lay on one of the outdoor beds or sit in one of the Adirondack chairs and watch the day move to night…all just a few steps from you room.

The only things that upset me about this place are 1) that we have to leave and 2) that I don’t own this place out right.

This place, Sueño Del Mar (dream of the sea) is very appropriately named. #puravida

Bonito sitio para hospedarse, con playa privada, buenas habitaciones, maravillosa decoración.

Such a special experience here. Tamarindo is a really cool town and Sueno Del Mar is outside of the center of town so it’s super low key and relaxed. The rooms are really cool! Breakfast is amazing. The sunsets are like a painting. We’re coming back next year to get married here so we came to check it out ahead of time. Couldn’t ask for anything more.

El mejor B&B para quedarse en playa Langosta y ver los atardeceres. Laa habitaciones aon preciosas y la ducha en el exterior un plus. La atención es estupenda y los desayunos de Lili para chuparse los dedos! 3° vez y las que quedan! Hasta pronto!

This B&B is absolutely adorable. Cozy and spacious rooms. Right on the beach. Fresh and delicious breakfast. Comfortable lounge chairs. Drinks available in the honor bar. Gracious hosts and staff. Complementary snorkel gear and water shoes. The Osita room was great for two adults and two teens. We had a fabulous time and can't wait to come back. Thank you Eduardo and Sol!
