Estaba muy cansada pero tan pronto como sentí el viento de mi tabla , se convirtió en una verdadera experiencia. Elías supo cómo hacerlo divertido y apropiado. Y estuvo allí para guiarme hasta que lo aprendí yo mismo. ¡Ahora yo también puedo enseñarlo!

Cada persona de su equipo que conocí fue extremadamente amable y conocedora del deporte del surf. Mi pareja y yo fuimos a surfear por primera vez con Elias y no pudimos pedir una mejor experiencia. Su enfoque personalizado en la instrucción de surf va más allá de lo básico, tejiendo conversaciones interesantes sobre la vida en el agua. No se trata sólo de coger olas; se trata de abrazar la naturaleza reflexiva tanto del surf como de la vida. Experiencia 10 sobre 10. Cuando visité Costa Rica, quería que mis hijos tuvieran una experiencia positiva al comenzar a tomar clases de surf. Elegimos ir con SALT y tuvimos una gran experiencia. Centrarse en la seguridad y la diversión era exactamente lo que quería. Elías y Manuel dieron explicaciones muy detalladas y practicaron antes de salir al agua con mis hijos. Los 4 estaban de pie y montando olas en tan solo unos pocos intentos. Los instructores fueron alentadores, positivos y serviciales. Definitivamente regresaremos para más lecciones. Recomiendo encarecidamente las clases de surf SALT.

Tomamos dos clases con Elías y ¡fueron increíbles! Es, con diferencia, el mejor instructor de surf que he tenido.
Elias evaluó hábilmente nuestro nivel de experiencia y se aseguró de que nuestras lecciones fueran las adecuadas para nosotros.
Nos hizo sentir seguros y cómodos en el agua y al mismo tiempo nos brindó la cantidad perfecta de instrucción para no abrumarnos.
Lo recomiendo ampliamente y espero que podamos regresar para muchas más clases en algún momento.

Recomiendo ampliamente esta escuela de surf. Escuchan sus necesidades y se toman el tiempo para analizar las áreas que necesitan mejorar. Incluso en las clases grupales, Elías se toma el tiempo con todos para ayudar a corregir detalles. Aprendimos mucho en muy poco tiempo.

When visiting Costa Rica, I wanted my boys to have a positive experience with beginning surf lessons. We chose to go with SALT and we had a great experience. The focus on safety and fun were exactly what I wanted. Elias and Manuel gave very thorough explanations and practice before heading out in the water with my boys. All 4 of them were standing up and riding waves within just a few tries. The instructors were encouraging, positive, and helpful. We will definitely go back for more lessons. I highly recommend SALT surf lessons.

Manu was an exceptional surf coach. I took private lessons for 3 days to learn to surf for the first time and enjoyed the hell out of it. He’s so good at what he does - explaining everything clearly, asking for your feedback, bringing upbeat energy, etc. I’ll be back for more lessons if I come back! SALT provided a top notch surfing instruction experience! The booking was easy, the coordination and communication was on point, and the lesson itself was incredible. My partner and I had surfed a couple times with instruction before, but we’ve never had a better time and rode more waves than with Elias at SALT. I now feel much more confident and knowledgeable to surf on my own. Also, Tamarindo Beach is a wonderful location for a relative noob to take it to the next level. Elias and Manu were the best instructors. They helped me improve from knowing nothing about surfing to feeling confident on my own. As people, they were also the most friendly and caring and made the sessions so fun! I would recommend them to everyone!

I can’t say enough about how lucky I feel that I made our surf lesson plans with Elias at SALT. My wife and I were total newbies and he knew exactly what to teach, ask and share to help us learn and connect quickly. My only regret is not booking a second lesson. Not only does he make learning surfing feel easy and fun, but really helps connect themes and lessons from surfing to what we deal with every day. It was an incredibly inspiring session and we are so glad to have met Elias.

Elias and Manu were the best surf instructors I’ve had. Having a little bit experience they really helped me further my beginner surfing abilities and made me feel confident in the water. I would 100% recommend them to anyone visiting Tamarindo. Their positive energy and passion really radiates through their teaching. I really can't say enough wonderful things about SALT! I had lessons with Manu who took the time and care to help me get back out on the waves (after a long time off the board). He is a phenomenal instructor, teaching you the love of being out on the water and enjoying life as it is.

SALT makes sure that your time is spent when the tide, wind, and waves are right - my initial booking of 1 PM moved to earlier in the day to ensure that I had some good waves to ride. And that I did! They stay on top of weather and tides to make sure everyone has a great outing. Kendra was wonderful setting everything up for me - she is personable, friendly, and makes you feel like you're speaking with a friend!

I can't wait to go back and cannot recommend SALT highly enough!

Elias was amazing! He was super friendly, attentive and explained everything very well. Made all of us feel very comfortable, he was always looking out for us and making sure we were safe. Was a big highlight of our vacation, would definitely recommend!

This was one of the best experiences I have ever had! My boyfriend and I have never been to tamarindo or surfed before. We heard from a podcast that Elias is the best… they were not wrong. I am blown away by his ability to make us feel so comfortable, calm, and emulate the best vibes! He is so kind and gave us amazing tips, we both got up and felt gnarley after! La verdad es que es una escuela increíble! Muy profesional y te enseñan cosas que no había aprendido en ninguna otra lección de surf. Tan solo una clase con manu el instructor y me ayudó a avanzar muchísimo, es gran instructor y persona. 100% recomendada!

We had an amazing experience with Elias and his team. He really takes the time to teach you how to read and catch and get up on waves, while also making sure you have the key skills for safety. We caught many waves and had the best experience! Also, his positive and wonderful demeanor and attitude just make the time a lovely experience. I, and my teen boys, had the best time. The rates are somewhat higher than some of the other lessons offered but 100% worth it - honestly, they are the best!

The most fun, safe and helpful surfing lessons. My family who ranged from 20’s to 50’s all enjoyed the lessons and were riding the waves, some despite never being near or wanting to get near a surfboard. He really knows how to break down the basics, impart safety and cheer everyone on in their success.
