Gran lugar para música y baile. Se llena a medida que avanza la noche, por lo que te aplastan y fue un poco salvaje.
Las bebidas eran geniales y el personal era amable.

Bonito bar para tomar unas copas después de cenar en la Avenida Central. Buena música y gente guapa.

LOS TURISTAS SE MANTIENEN ALEJADOS. Tengo dos amigos a quienes les robaron sus teléfonos y billeteras aquí en noches diferentes. Parece que hay una especie de red de ladrones con base en aquí.

Audio needs a better equalization, roof sounded like something was loose. Bass could be equalized.

No saben preparar un fernet, pero te lo cobran como si estuviera bien hecho. Debo decir muy caro para lo qué ofrecen.

Rumors is a small but mighty club on the strip of Tamarindo that has the best beats going all night long. If you want to listen to electronic/house music; this is the spot. No cover charge unlike many of the other surrounding clubs.

Excelente lugar para ir a bailar! Y disfrutar de la noche además de excelente música y no se diga de sus tragos que son una delicia!

La musique est bonne (DJ) le personnel très gentil, la nourriture a prime abord j'ai bien aimé mais un peux trop saler.

We really enjoyed our time here! The menu had wonderful food (especially the tuna!) and the New York sour was a great way to cap a day of surfing. Also, The food and drink menus are so well thought out.

The owner came by too and he was so kind. We will definitely be back!

Great place to be on a Friday night! It's similar to being at Europe in a psy trance party. The drinks are not pricey for Tamarindo and apparently this is part of the bar crawl that starts every Friday 9 pm in Selina.

This place was awesome. Very delicious food and excellent service. Thank you to the two young ladies that helped me both nights and to who I think was the owner/ manager. This place serves great food and at night it gets really busy. Having a DJ was a nice touch. This place is a must visit.

Great music, nice drinks and a good vibe. Could do with another toilet though! Was absolutely packed on a Tuesday evening so I can imagine the weekends would be WILD! Great night had.

This place gets popping on the weekends! Get there early and get a spot cause it fills up quickly. Easily one of the most fun places in the area that's great for drinks with friends!

Very impressed and pleasantly surprised by the drinks, even a gin & tonic was spruced up. The bartenders clearly care & it's always busy with a great atmosphere

Worse experience in 7 years of living in Costa Rica
If I leave a review, it's normally because I had an amazing experience somewhere.

I ate at Rumors a while back and wasn't impressed but I'm all for supporting local businesses so I decided not to write anything negative.

Last night I went to Rumors and it was a nightmare. The lady at the entrance was so unbelievably rude and unfriendly that I'm never going back. I've lived in Costa Rica for 7 years and never had anyone treat me nor my friends with such lack of respect.

I walked in with 3 friends and I was the last one. She wouldn't let me in without telling me why. As I was trying to argue my way in, she let another couple in.

One of my friends realized I wasn't inside so he came out to bring me in, and the lady at the door told him "if you're with him you can't go back him".

My friend told her to refer to me as "she" but she kept referring to me as "he" even tough I'm a trans woman with all feminine attributes, and a cute skirt, heels and makeup.

My friend was fed up with her transphobism, so we decided to go somewhere else.but my friend's girlfriend and our 4th friend were still inside and the lady at the door wouldn't let my friend go back in to grab them.

I have never been victim of transphobia in Costa Rica.and at the very least, I'm releaved that the lady who treated us so badly is NOT Costa Rican! She is not representative of how trans women like me are treated in this country.

The lady was French and I noticed it from her accent right away because French is mother tongue. I even tried speaking in French with her as I thought it might help communicate better but was just as mean and rude.

I've never been refused entrance anywhere in Costa Rica for being trans. I'm shocked and so were my friends.

If you want French food, I recommend 1000x Utopia where the French chef receives all guests with respect, love and care. If you want good burgers, I recommend Burger Shack by the beach and the Tama Burger in the Mercadito, two places where the staff is kind, friendly and welcoming.

The worst alcohol in Tamarindo. It's been for some time but I came back again and realized how they steal locals and foreigners, both. Disgusting and poorly prepared drinks for $10 each. Unbelievable.

Nice place with good burgers. They certainly know how to make a killer Bloody Mary. What you see is what you get at Rumors

Rumors is THE place in Tamarindo. 100% encompasses the PURA VIDA vibe. Best food ever. Cannot go wrong with anything on the menu and we truly get the best service. We came here by accident on our first day in Tamarindo and came back every day. Awesome music and they usually have a live DJ. The manager ("Nacho") is a beloved pura vida soul. He stole our heart. We wish we could capture his vibe and heart in a bottle and sprinkle it all over the world! All the Rumors staff are awesome and we can only say positive comments about every aspect of our experience here!

My husband and I ate here Tues 23rd Nov and both got the tuna poke bowls. It tasted great until it came back up again at midnight. Both of us are sick as dogs on last night of our holiday.
On top of that.a huge cockroach walked across our table and almost on my plate. Had to whip it away and the staff just laughed. Really unprofessional. We didn't get anything comped.

Pretty cool bar-restaurant. Seems quite popular with locals and expats alike. Drinks are pretty good and the service was excellent (Thank you Catherine!)
