Pablo Surf School

¡Pablo y su equipo fueron absolutamente fantásticos! Te lo recomiendo mucho. Incluso ofrecen transporte hacia y desde. Nos lo pasamos de maravilla y desearía poder hacerlo todo de nuevo. ¡Las fotos GoPro también son una ventaja!

Ambiente increíble, buena gente tratando de ayudarte a atrapar una ola. ¡Me levanté en segundos!

Lo pasé muy bien con Pablo y su asistente Sebastián. Simplemente hay gente interesante que te ayudará a navegar. Gran actitud positiva e instrucción. Toda la familia probablemente atrapó más de 30 olas cada una. Se lo recomendaría a todos. ¡Pura vida!

Pablo es asombroso. Es un gran maestro, es increíblemente alentador y realmente me ayudó a seguir persiguiendo olas y aprovechar al máximo nuestro tiempo juntos.

Es un tipo muy dulce, conmovedor y reflexivo que estuvo muy atento a mis movimientos y se esforzó para que surfeara de la forma más intencionada y segura posible. Soy un principiante, solo he surfeado 4 o 5 veces en el pasado, y en 90 minutos, estaba cogiendo olas por mis propios medios de manera bastante consistente. Nunca hubiera logrado este progreso por mi cuenta, ni hubiera logrado conseguir tantas olas en tan poco tiempo. También recibí muchas fotos geniales de Pablo, que crean grandes recuerdos y me permiten presumirlas ante mis amigos:) ¡Gracias Pablo!

Era el último día de nuestras vacaciones en Costa Rica y mi amigo y yo realmente queríamos recibir una lección de surf, ya que ambos somos principiantes y acabamos de tomar algunas lecciones de surf antes.
Así que fuimos a casa de Pablo y le preguntamos si era posible recibir una lección de surf ese día. ¡Y él lo hizo posible! Dos horas después nos encontramos en la playa de Tamarindo, donde él proporciona las tablas. Después de preguntarle sobre nuestras experiencias de surf, nos hizo calentar un poco con las tablas en la playa y luego nos llevó al agua.
Pablo tiene un gran ojo para las olas adecuadas y trató de enseñarnos lo mismo. Él es un gran instructor y mi amigo y yo pudimos atrapar y surfear casi todas las olas en las que nos puso, a pesar de que somos principiantes totales. ¡Fue una sesión muy exitosa y nos divertimos mucho!

Tuvimos clases de surf para principiantes en familia. ¡Fue increíble! Éramos 5 personas y teníamos 2 profesores de surf. Primero nos explicaron todo en tierra y en cuanto estuvimos en el agua pudimos subirnos a la tabla y disfrutar de las olas. ¡Muchas gracias!

¡Pablo y su equipo son realmente increíbles! Desde el principio nos saludaron a mí y a mi familia con sonrisas y bromas. Una vez que comenzó la lección, supiste que Pablo hizo de la seguridad su prioridad número uno, lo que nos aseguró que estábamos en buenas manos. ¡Mi hermana y yo estábamos surfeando y riéndonos en poco tiempo! No puedo esperar a nuestra próxima lección.

Pablo was amazing and brought a friend to help teach our 4 kids how to surf. He picked us up at the Westin Conchal and was about 25 minute drive to Tamarindo Beach. We spent 1.5 hours surfing and we’re so tired. The beach was fun and the surf was so fun. Lots of great families at the beach and very safe. We paid $70 per person and a discount if you wanted to ride to the beach but not surf. Pablo included all the equipment for surfing!

What a fantastic experience surfing for the first time. Pablo's got us up on waves, riding the surf the very first day. I have terrible balance and have never been good on snow boards, ski's, or skateboards but Pablo was very patient and was determined to make me love surfing. We booked 3 sessions with Pablo and by the end we were full on surfing. Thank you, Thank you for making our first trip to Costa Rica so fun and memorable!

Pablo and his other instructor Ali were absolutely fantastic! My wife, our two kids ages 10 and 12 along with myself, could not have had a more enjoyable time. The lessons were great, patient, helpful and fun. Location was easy to find and parking at the beach felt safe. Initial set up for day and time was done via email and WhatsApp. Price was very fair. This was our first time to Costa Rica and we will definitely be back, and can’t wait to surf with Pablo and Ali again

Amazing experience. Pablo and Aldi were patient and supportive instructors during our lesson at Tamarindo Beach. We booked with Pablo Surf School based on the outstanding reviews and can confirm they’re true! He has a legitimate website, communicates well, provides transportation, has boards in good condition, provided great, safe instruction, accepted USD currency, and even sent some follow-up photos and videos. Cannot say enough great things!

Pablo and Aldi are awesome! We booked a lesson for 4 adults, met up with Pablo in the parking lot and were in the water within 10 minutes. In 2 hours, I probably caught 10+ waves, each time getting better and better with his direction. Pablo was taking shots on his GoPro, helping with pointers, and boosting confidence the whole time. Would definitely recommend him for your lesson and hope to return to Tamarindo soon!

We had a great experience with Pablo and his colleagues. They picked us up at our hotel and drove us to an area good for beginners. He had two helpers for our group of six. They were so helpful and fun. Highly recommend, thank you Pablo!

I really recommand Pablo. I did 3 surf clases with him and his instructores. He is ponctual, positive and generous. He really wanted us to get as much wave as possible. I also did a tour to Palo Verde with him which was a nice day trip.

Very patient and not overwhelming was a great length of time, Brian was great to work with as well as Pablo!

We recently went to Costa Rica for vacation and it was a lifelong dream to learn to surf. I contacted Pablo because he had great reviews on here and no regrets! It was super easy to book - just texted via What’sApp. He picked us up at the hotel and we went to Tamarindo beach. Once there, he did a quick tutorial on the board, and then we got right into the water. He was a great teacher, very patient, and his main goal was to see us up on that board. He also had a GoPro on him which was great to see the pictures and videos at the end. We spent two hours in the water, I got a ton of runs, and overall had an awesome time. One bonus is that he brings along a friend who takes professional photos, what you can purchase at the end for $35. We weren’t aware of this ahead of time, but it was a nice treat and we have some really funny pictures of us falling.
I think it was $65 for the two of us with transportation from Casa Chamaeleon, which I think was a huge bargain considering you are supplied with the board, a rash guard, transported to and from the beach and have a really good instructor. It was also way cheaper than going through the resort.

I would 100% recommend again and again! Very safe, fun and definitely family friendly!
I can’t wait to get back to Costa Rica. Only regret was not spending some time in Tamarindo.

Pablo was incredible! It was very easy to communicate and coordinate our surf lesson through WhatsApp. He taught 9 beginner adults to surf at Tamarindo, and we all were able to stand up! It was nice to give business to a local rather than a large company. Pablo's price was very reasonable. Transportation to and from our airbnb, surfing lessons, and go pro photos were all included. Our group had such a good time that some people took a second lesson with Pablo! If you are in the area, surf lessons with Pablo are a must!
