Agua Tibia Surf School

He estado en Nosara tres veces y trabajo con Agua Tibia cada vez que visito (incluso si me quedo en el otro lado de la ciudad).

El equipo está muy bien informado, es accesible y paciente con los clientes. Alquilé una tabla por una semana y entendieron que diferentes días requerían diferentes tablas y no tuvieron problemas para cambiarlas (incluso una reparación a un costo muy razonable). Mi novia tomó una lección para principiantes y realmente la ayudó a aprender lo básico. .bien vale la pena.

En general, no puedo recomendarlos lo suficiente y ¡volveremos!

Estos chicos son súper amigables. Se adaptan con creces a cualquier necesidad especial (es decir, devoluciones tardías, probar diferentes tablas y Brian incluso encontró algunas cuerdas elásticas para ayudarme a asegurar la tabla a mi bicicleta). Considerándolo todo, estos muchachos son surfistas increíbles, excelentes fuentes locales y estarán encantados de ayudarte en todo lo que puedan. ¡Pura vida!

Beginner surfer here: This school is great. Instructors (I had Adrian (owner) and Jose) are kind and give specific feedback. The whole vibe is incredibly warm and fun. Very quick walk to the ocean.

The best place to surf in Nosara! Highly recommend this school. Adrian, Dani and Marcello taught our whole family to surf this week and looked after us so well - Adrian had my four year old surfing by herself by day two and Dani had my eight year old riding green waves like a pro! Couldn’t have asked for a better introduction to Nosara. Great friendly vibe at the surf school and at the quieter end of the beach so the water isn’t too crowded. The many thank you notes from happy customers on the wall behind Evelyn’s desk say it all. We’ll miss you guys and the fresh coconut water after surfing as well!

Agua Tibia and the Staff are amazing. My family had 4 lessons with Joel. He was awesome! Worked great with my 15 & 13 YR old daughters as well as with my wife and I.

My friend and I had the pleasure of getting our first surf lesson with Danny at Agua Tibia! We’ve surfed on our own a handful of times but Danny really helped us understand the fundamentals. Everyone we interacted with from Agua were incredibly friendly and helpful. Definitely plan to come back for more lessons and board rental!

Just recently finished a round of beginner lessons with the staff from Água Tibia. They were very knowledgeable and professional and helped me learn a lot in a very short period of time. Highly recommend you check them out if you are in CR.

They really helped me improved my skills. Nice Surfshop, chill people and atmosphere. I loved surfing with them and would definitely recommend going there.

We had a great experience with Aqua Tibia. We took lessons for kids (16,13,11) and adults. The lessons were great and very instructive about the beach and how to surf it. We also rented boards which we could store with them or get tuned up whenever we needed. The staff was really nice and always willing to lend some advice.

Had an amazing experience! I’ve been staying at blue spirit for a yoga retreat but I’m from Florida. Everyone was so kind and attentive. The energy in the school is so positive and easy going. My instructor Edward was awesome and when I got up and actually surfed he was genuinely sooo happy for me & wanted to help me make it happen. Amazing teacher! I’m going again tomorrow and I’m so excited! At the end they gave us coconut water and helped us find a massage place & transportation. They were sooo helpful! 10/10! Loved it would def. Recommend!

It was such a great experience! My husband and my son (12 y.o.) were surfing for a first time, we were lucky to have Marcelo as our surf coach! He was super patient, knowledgeable, and just amazing. Combination of theory and practice in his lessons led to great results, they were able to stand on a board on a first day! Definitely recommend!

If you're in Nosara, this is the only surf school to go to. Locally owned. Team knows these waters better than anyone else. The prices are fair and the instructors are top notch. I worked with Danny who is by far the best surf instructor I've ever worked with. He educates and empowers when he teaches - leaving you confident in the water to trust yourself and catch the wave. The shop is chill and kind - what more could you ask for?

Agua Tibia came highly recommended by a friend who visits Costa Rica often. We took a 2 hour surf lesson (one beginner and one intermediate) and were quite impressed with the instructors. They are fun, skilled and good-natured teachers. We had a first-rate day!

Great service! Highly recommend renting boards here. I was stung by a stingray during my surf and the staff at the shop were so helpful. I wouldn’t have known what to do to treat it and they gave me all the info to heal it. They even put together a treatment to remove the venom. Mucho gracias!

Thank you for the great experience! Marcelo was a great coach for me and my son, we were able to stand on the board after a first lesson, really enjoyed the lessons and Marcelo approach! Highly recommend!
